HOLDING SOCIETY AMALGAMATION -

Notice of Special General Meeting of the Members of

United Steelworkers, Local 7284 Holding Society

The Directors of the United Steelworkers, Local 7284 Holding Society hereby gives notice that a Special General Meeting of the Society will be held to approve the proposed Extraordinary Resolutions listed below, on:

 November 21, 2023, at 5 p.m. MST at 111 Centennial Square, Sparwood, BC.

Extraordinary Resolutions:

1.     Approval of Amalgamation (at least 2/3 of the votes cast by the voting members and majority of Directors required)

a.      Be It Resolved That the assembled members approve amalgamation of United Steelworkers, Local 7284 Holding Society with Sparwood Steelworkers Local 9346 Holding Society; and,

b.     Be It Further Resolved That the assembled members approve the Amalgamation Agreement as circulated.

Conduct of Meeting

This general meeting will be held in person. Proxies are not permitted.
