Attention Hunters

Remember to send in your photos to the Union Hall with a brief description of your hunt.

At the end of hunting season we will put the names of the hunters - who submitted photos - into a draw for some USW prizes (Jackets, t-shirt, ect.)


WOS Project:

We are collecting shampoo and soap for the Women's Resource Centers and Safe Houses in our Communities.

Next time you stay in a hotel that provides shampoo and soap that you don't use - would you please put them in a bag and give them to a Sister on your crew, drop them off at the Union Hall, or Gertie Banks in Payroll on 3rd floor - Read more in September's Newsletter

 WOS "Women of Steel" Committee - Open to all women

The purpose of the Women's Committee is to: 

· Help build solidarity and mutual respect amongst our membership

·  Encourage our brothers and sisters to work together and help get our Local more involved in community activities

· Organize activities for our members and their families

Results of the vote on the second Tentative Agreement are as follows:

Number of Eligible Voters - 689

Number of Ballots Returned -  612

Number if Favour - 359

Number Against - 252

Number Spoiled - 1

RESULTS -   58.7% in favour of the agreement.
